The world is gonna end?

So people and the rumour saying that the world is gonna end today in this year has been going around like a fire swiftly burning a wooden house down.
But I'll be honest; it's a load of rubbish.

Now before you readers look at this then have a go at me, hear me out; If the world was gonna end, it would've done so millennia ago but it didn't. The Mayans prophesized that the world was gonna end in 2012. That didn't happen. Do you honestly think the world's going to end today? I don't think so.

I am a Christian through baptism but I'm agnostic; I have a hard time deciding if said gods and/or goddesses exist. An atheist would deny the existence of a god whilst a religious person; take a Roman Catholic would believe in God.

The news of the world ending from my knowledge happened twice; first the Mayans then a Christian. Although I'm fascinated by both science and religion, I can't say that neither or both sides are right or wrong. It's just an 50/50 thing.

But I do know that the world isn't going to end; those two occasions including now was made by religious people who used their knowledge of their religion and uncovered the facts of the world ending. Mayans claimed it in 2012 and now a Christian claims it'll end today in 2015.

Again I really don't think the world is gonna end today; it would've done so in 2012 or as stated above millennia ago.
